Joseph Rehabilitation Center is owned and operated by competent management staff committed to providing effective assisted living residential services to achieve the mission of the Organization. An Advisory Board consisting of highly regarded professionals in the community volunteer their time to serve the Organization. 

  Mrs. Adetutu O. Balogun is the administrative manager. She is responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of the Organization. She is a registered occupational therapist and licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and New York. She earned her baccalaureate degree in occupational therapy from the State University of New York Health Science Center and a Masterís degree in Guidance Counseling. Mrs. Balogun is recognized by the State of Illinois as an evaluator in the Early Intervention program. She provides evaluation, treatment, equipment recommendation and fabrication for infants, babies and toddlers with physical and developmental disabilities.

In 1999, Mrs. Balogun received the Functional Independent Measure (FIM) certification. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the World Federation of Occupational Therapy. She recently received an extensive training in autism management from the Illinois Autism/PDD Training and Technical Assistant Project.

 Ms. Edna Adams is the Program Director and she is responsible for the daily operation of the program services in accordance with applicable standards, policies, procedures, and rules. Ms. Adams was employed at Rimland Services, Evanston, Illinois where she served for 11 years in various administrative and service capacities. She was Associate Executive Director when she left Rimland Services.  Ms. Adams has also worked in the State Department of Human Services (Madden Mental Health Center, Hines, Illinois) for 32 years. She is credentialed as a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP) by the IL Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities.

We have on our payroll a registered nurse and psychiatrist consultants.  They are directly responsible for coordinating the health and safety services provided for our consumers.
